Charlotte was a lady who enjoyed life and was always in the eyes of the public beginning in her high school years. She was the Homecoming Queen of McClellanville High School in 1958 and later received the title “Miss McClellanville”. After graduating from college, she worked as a registered nurse and then pursued a career as a counterfeit investigator. While she enjoyed those careers, her greatest accomplishment in life was being a successful homemaker and raising her 5 children. Later in life her goal was to go back into the nursing profession, but she encountered some health challenges that would not allow her to continue pressing forward.
Charlotte loved to make people smile and she enjoyed being around people. She was a talented dancer. She even became known as the “shag queen” of Pawley’s Island.
Please join family and friends for a special celebration of Charlotte’s life on Saturday, August 17, 7:00 PM, at Living Faith Fellowship, 1090 West Mount Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27803. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
