WILSON -
Timothy “Timmy” Ray Skinner, age 55, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Carolyn Skinner.
Timmy is survived by his daughter, Nikki Skinner of Daytona, Florida; fiancée, Eleanor Nutt of the home; sisters, Susan Green (Mike) of Reidsville, Jane Whitley (Brent) of Spring Hope, Tracy Stallings (Randy) of Rocky Mount, and Amy Connie (Trey) of Macclesfield along with several nieces and nephews.
Timmy was born May 26, 1963 in Wilson, NC, where he spent most of life, being near his family. His mother was always important to Timmy. He loved the outdoors, surrounded in nature where he appreciated the beauty created by Almighty God. He was passionate about hunting and fishing, from a very young age he could get lost in the woods for hours. Timmy loved helping others, he was always readily available to help anyone in need. His family and friends will remember Timmy for his heart of gold, energetic personality, and his ability to make everyone around him laugh, he knew no stranger.
There are also 3 special “friends” that will miss Timmy dearly; his 3 dogs, Tinkerbell, Cocoa, and Buddy.
All friends and family are invited to a special gathering and visitation to honor Timmy, Wednesday, March 6, 2019 between 4PM - 7PM, at the home of his sister Amy Connie, 7303 Shallingtons Mill Road, Macclesfield, NC.
