Elm City –

Following ninety-two wonderful years, Agnes Jeanette Webb Robbins finished her time here on earth and was called home to her Savior on Saturday, February 24, 2024.

She was born in Edgecombe County on October 14, 1931 to James W. and Mamie Edwards Webb. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Hilliard Robbins and siblings, Gladys Webb, Cleo Reason, Dixie Moore, Glenda Whitley, and Francis Webb.

Agnes was deeply cherished by her children, Elaine Robbins Hatch (Freddie) of The Woodlands, TX, Delance Robbins Gill (fiancé, Robbie Jones) of Elm City, and Marty Ray Robbins (Connie) of Elm City; brother, Ralph Webb (Lila) of Wilson; grandchildren, Stefanie Hatch Delzer (Ronnie), Leslie Gill Humphrey (Ray); great-grandchildren, Miles and Kaitlin Delzer, Taylor, Lyndsey, and Landon Humphrey; along with numerous nieces and nephews, and her church family from Webbs Chapel Baptist Church.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Ashley Bailey Davis, of Heartland Hospice, for the special care she provided when it was needed the most.

A service to celebrate Agnes' wonderful life will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Webbs Chapel Baptist Church, 2771 Webbs Chapel Rd., Macclesfield, NC 27852. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 pm, and other times at the home.
