Rocky Mount -
Alfred "Al" Marshall, age 87, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021. He was born on July 14, 1934 in Somerville, MA to Anthony and Lena Malone Marshall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Al Marshall, Jr. and his brother, Vernon Paul Marshall.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Marshall; children, Charles Marshall (Kathy) of New Hampshire, David Marshall, Sr. (Carrie-Ann) of New Hampshire and Michelle McGreal (Michael) of Massachusetts; step-children, Eric Jesionowski (Julie) of Parkland, FL and Phillip Jesionowski of Massachusetts; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 2:00PM at Arlington Baptist Church, 1500 Bethlehem Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27803. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
