Alice "Faye" Boone, age 76, passed away peacefully at her home early Saturday morning, October 2, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Ida Lee Raynor; husband, Charles Boone; son, Harvey Cooke; and brothers, Charles, Ronnie, and Joe Raynor. She is survived by her children, Horace Dickens of Whitakers, Teresa Overton (Matt Ezzelle) of Spring Hope, Allison Talley (James Crocker) of Rocky Mount, and Timothy Scott Cooke, also of Rocky Mount.

She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Jeremy Williams, Brandon Dew, Randy Dickens, Jessica Myers, Sarah Jones, Ashton Waul, Daniel Talley, Nichole Talley, Sharina Cooke, Tiffany Taylor, Alex Cooke, and Allen Cooke; twenty-three great-grandchildren; her devoted companion, Freeman Weiner of Bath, NC; along with a host of family friends and other extended relatives.

Faye's family and friends will gather for a special time of remembrances and fellowship from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the home, 335 Paul St., Rocky Mount.
