Anne Denton Weeks, 59, of Tarboro passed away peacefully surrounded by family and was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on Saturday, January 25th, 2025. Anne was born on October 18th, 1965 to Willie Edward Denton, Jr. And Jean Roberson Denton in Tarboro, NC.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents; brother, Willie Edward "Eddie" Denton, Ill and nephew, Josh Denton.

After graduating high school at Tarboro Edgecombe Academy, she went on to study at Atlantic Christian College and later received her Master of Arts in Teaching in 2011.

Anne had a fulfilling career as an educator, and anyone could see her love and passion for teaching young children. She leaves behind a tremendous legacy. She loved her Lord and Savior and truly had a servant's heart. She enjoyed her family and going on trips to her favorite places, Sanibel Island and Hawaii.

She is survived by the love of her life, husband, Brent Weeks; daughter, Emily McCutcheon; fur-baby, Toby; nieces, Tabitha Fountain (Brandon) of Rocky Mount, NC, Jeanna Frisk (Nick) of Burlington, NC; great nephews, Wesley, Landon and Brandon Fountain, Joshua Adams, Nathan Denton, and Everett Frisk; great niece, Madison Frisk; sisters-in-law, Sheila E. Weeks and Allison Turner (Chip) and aunts, Phyllis Hoots (Jimmy), Norma Roberson and Donna Roberson.

A service to celebrate Anne's wonderful life and honor Jesus Christ will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Penders Chapel Baptist Church, 3246 Howard Avenue Ext, Tarboro, NC 27886. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00pm.
