Annette Riley Patterson, age 83, passed away Monday, December 27, 2021, at Nash UNC Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.E. "Boe" Patterson; sisters, Ruth Cain and Daphine Bowles; and brother, Dennis Riley.

She leaves a loving family that includes her children, Kevin Patterson, Kyle Patterson and wife, Donna, all of Rocky Mount, and Kelly P. Winstead and husband, Keith of Elm City; sister, Joan Mosley of Rocky Mount; along with many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives. She was especially proud of her grandchildren, Cameron and wife, Kristin Patterson, Joshua, Ben, and Samuel Patterson, and Kayla, Kensey, and Kelsey Winstead; and great-grandson, Layton Patterson.

Graveside services will be held privately.
