Audrey Fulcher Scarboro, age 93, passed away Wednesday, July 15th, 2020 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

She was born in Stacy, North Carolina on March 29, 1927 to Roy and Carrie Willis Fulcher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don Scarboro; infant children, Donna Lane and Gregory Scarboro; son, Don William Scarboro; and brother-in-law, Dr. Bill C. Cooper.

Mrs. Scarboro is survived by her two daughters, Lynne S. Cotter (Peter) of Raleigh, and Carol S. Willis (Dennis) of Franklinton; sister, Janet F. Cooper of Rocky Mount; brother, Fred Fulcher (Sarah) of Pine Knoll Shores; seven grandsons; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, July 18th, 2020 at Lakeside Baptist Church with Dr. Jody Wright officiating. Due to the unfortunate circumstances stemming from Covid 19, facial coverings will be required and provided for everyone's protection. The family will gather for a private interment prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, Audrey requested memorial donations be made to any worthy organization, group or family of your choice.
