Tarboro –

Barbara Morris Abrams, age 82, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 11, 2024 at her home in Tarboro, NC. Her journey began on December 10, 1941 in Edgecombe County, daughter of Lawrence and Martha Johnson Morris, both of whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughters, Kim Dupree and husband, John of Tarboro, Angie Odham and husband, Benny of Raleigh and Denise Abrams Biddle of Tarboro; uncle, Gene Morris, also of Tarboro; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; along with several other extended relatives.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
