Barbara Lee Hopkins Hines, age 74, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 1, 2026. She was born on July 30, 1951 in Anderson, South Carolina to Clyde and Georgia Capps Hopkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Waylon Hines; brothers, Richard, Mitchell, Early and Tony Hopkins and sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Hopkins and Cathy Hopkins.

She is survived by her daughters, Kasie Evans, Kristina Evans, both of Rocky Mount and Tonya Rose (Paul) of Texas; grandchildren, Khloe Williams, Audri Shearon, Jamie Clyburn, Nathan Rose, Jacob Rose, Emmalee Kate Rose and J'Kasi Mason, due to be born anytime. She also leaves great-grandson, Kash, along with several nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Davis-Little Funerals, 2129 Lawrence Circle, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
