Barry Cherry, 64, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at New Hanover Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. He was born in Edgecombe County, NC to Robert Lee and Judith Downs Cherry on August 15, 1957. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Larry Gene Cherry.

He is survived by his children, Christina Cherry Arellano of Pinetops, Michael Cherry of Spring Hope and Cameron Cherry (Skylar Kimball) of Fountain; siblings, Robert Cherry, Jr. (Pamela) of Tarboro, Pricilla Ann Upole (Thomas) of Griffin and Dorothy Mae Burress of Winterville; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service to celebrate Barry's life will be held at a later date.
