Elm City -

Becky Lynn Joyner, age 66, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at her home in Elm City, North Carolina. She was born on November 25, 1956 in Nash County. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Alton Joyner; mother, Nancy Williams Liles; son, Joseph Timmie "Jody" Joyner and brother, Joseph Mark Joyner.

She is survived by her husband, Timmie Turner; son, Brian Mitchell Turner of Elm City; brothers, Alton Ray Joyner (Debby Jo) of Wilson and Wayne Joyner (Karen) of Inman, SC; grandchildren, Timmie Lee Joyner (Kayla Len Benton), Tristan Bryce Joyner, Addington Mitchell Turner; and great-grandchildren, Emberee Sky and Novalee Ais Joyner; step-mother, Joanne Manning of Wilson; along with several nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law.

A service will be held at 12:00PM on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Gospel Missionary Baptist Church, 8438 Town Creek Road, Rocky Mount, NC, 27803. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery, Rocky Mount, NC 27801. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11:00AM and other times at the home of Ray and Debby Jo Joyner.
