Ben Langley, 73, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024. He was born June 7, 1950 in Edgecombe County to Rebecca and Benjamin Langley, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Joyner Langley; son, Benjamin "Benjie" Jackson Langley, III and brother, John Harrell.

He leaves a lifetime of treasured memories for his daughters, Ashley Rebecca Langley of Rocky Mount and Holly Kea Blythe (Michael) of Spring Hope; granddaughters, Savannah and Lilly Langley and Amber Byrum; sister, Toni Driver of Rocky Mount and close friend that he loved as a son, Thomas Matthews (Frances) of Rocky Mount. Ben will also be missed by several nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws and grand-nieces and nephews.

Ben served honorably for several years in the United States Air Force. After leaving the military, he spent his career as an auto mechanic, most notably with LBJ Chevrolet in Nashville and Davenport Honda in Rocky Mount. His automotive knowledge and kind personality will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The family will host a memorial service on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 3:00pm at Rise church, 3520 Bishop Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
