Billy "Garrett" Hamilton, age 29, passed away early Thursday morning, July 7, 2022 at Nash UNC Health Care in Rocky Mount, NC. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Lucille Mitchell; brother, Mark "Daniel" Hamilton; paternal grandparents, Joe and Viola Hamilton; maternal grandparents, Clayton and Linda Faye Mitchell; and maternal uncle, Timothy "Tim" Mitchell.

Garrett is survived by his son, Caiden Joyner Hamilton; father, Billy Ray Hamilton (Penny) of Gaffney, SC; sister, Brittany Leanne Hamilton of Sharpsburg; brother, Randall Hare (Nicole) of Nashville; aunt, Jennifer Wood of Nashville; nephew, Daniel Ray Hamilton; paternal uncle, Danny Ray Hamilton of Macclesfield; and Caiden's mother, Katie Joyner of Rocky Mount.

A Celebration of Garrett's life will be held at 6:00 pm, Sunday, July 10, 2022 at The Church of God, 2127 Lawrence Circle, Rocky Mount. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 5:00 pm.
