With his loving family by his side, Billy Lee Meadows, age 72 and formerly of Canvas, West Virginia, went Home to be with his Lord Monday morning, August 12, 2019 following a long illness. He was a Christian by faith and attended Christian Fellowship Church in Sandy Cross, NC. He retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways after thirty-eight years of service. He was a gifted artist whose beautiful artwork can be found in many places around the world.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Roe and Delphia Meadows; brother, Dave Meadows; and twin brother, the Reverend Jim Meadows, all from Cottle, WV.

He is survived by two sons, Fredrick Meadows and wife, Joy, of Whitakers, NC and Matthew Meadows and wife, Kelli of Canvas, WV; sister, Irene Bailey of Tioga, WV; grandsons, Austin Meadows of Rocky Mount, Kalab and Seth Meadows of Whitakers, Chandler and Liam Meadows of Canvas, WV; granddaughter, Dawnielle Holcomb of Hanley, WV; along with a host of family friends, a special church family and many extended relatives.

The family will gather for a private memorial service at a later date.
