Bobby Ray Paris, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Wilson Medical Center. He was born on August 27, 1943 in Nash County to Henry Ambrose and Beulah Register Paris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Clarence Paris, James "Kermit" Paris, Marvin Paris, and Charles Paris; and sisters, Arleen Niemiec and Sandra Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Langley Paris; sisters, Dorothy Pulley and Betty Rackley; children, Jennifer Paris Fisher (Kevin) and Kelly Ray Paris; grandchildren, Jonathan Fisher (Patricia), Michael Fisher, and Phillip Fisher (Morgan); and great-grandchildren, Adelaide Fisher, Garrison Fisher, and Madelyn Fisher.

A service will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Cornerstone Independent Baptist Church, 1481 Beechwood Dr., Rocky Mount, NC 27803. The family will receive friends prior to the service, starting at 12:00 PM.  Internment will follow at Pineview Cemetery.
