Brenda Eason Reason

Brenda Faye Reason, age 58, passed away Tuesday evening, October 6, 2026 at her home in Nashville, North Carolina. She was born on October 28, 1967 in Hillsborough, North Carolina to Edward Eason and Betty Shaw Sugg, both of whom preceded her in death.

She leaves many treasured memories for her children, April Reason (fiancé, Ryan Ashley) of Nashville and Jeffrey Skinner of Jacksonville; brothers, Donnie Peele, James Peele and Leon Peele; sisters, Linda Peele and Teresa Eason; grandchildren, Allie Gibson and Mason Ashley; former husband, Kevin Douglas Reason; special friend, Ron Israel; along with many nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.

Brenda was a loving daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. Her family was her rock; she cherished any time they spent together and she especially enjoyed their yearly trips to Nags Head, NC. Her grandchildren were the apples of her eye and Allie and Mason each held a special place in her heart. Brenda will be remembered for her loyalty to her family, her love for music and her soft spot for cats. Her memory will never be forgotten by those who knew and loved her. 

Visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Barnes Hill OFWB Church, 5592 West Mount Drive, Nashville, NC 27856 with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to assist with funeral expenses.
