Carl Warren "Bill" Pitt

Carl Warren (Bill) Pitt, 77, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019.  He was born on October 19, 1941 to William Walton and Sadie Manning Pitt. Bill graduated from South Edgecombe High School in Pinetops and was employed as an equipment installer at Carolina Telephone Company.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Carl Duane Pitt; brother, Walton Bryan Pitt, and sister, Jennifer Pitt.

Bill leaves a loving granddaughter, Carly Price and husband Jason; great grandchildren, Ryleigh and Tatum Price, many nieces and nephews, and special caregivers, Polly Edmondson (1st cousin) and Joey and Patricia Williams.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on Sunday, April 28 at 2 pm at Pineview Cemetery, Pinetops. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
