Rocky Mount –

Carl Franklin Sellars, 84, surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday evening, May 23, 2020.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Proctor Sellars; children, Debbie Sellars (Burt Philips), Ronnie Sellars (Mike McCain), and Kathy Sellars Adcox (Mark); stepchildren, Jeff Dillon (Renee), Kelly Paris, and Jennifer Fisher (Kevin); and sister-in-law, Bettie Sellars.  Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Ody Sellars; brothers, Charles and Earl Sellars, wives, Julia Rackley Sellars and Judy Dillon Sellars.

He enjoyed his employment as a Parts Manager at Don Bulluck Chevrolet and Bill Rowe Oldsmobile and Nissan.  Prior to Carl's employment, he served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Lockport, New York as a Specialist E-4 Rank.  Carl will be remembered by friends and family as a godly man that loved and faithfully served God and his family.  A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, Rocky Mount Memorial Park to celebrate Carl's homegoing.
