Carl Wayne "Bill" Tillery, age 72, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital in Tarboro, NC.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Recinos-Tillery (Noe Gregerio Recinos) of Rocky Mount; siblings, Horace, Richard, Kenneth, and George Tillery, Mary Jane Page, and Linda Tillery; former wife and mother of his children, Marsha Tillery of Tarboro; step-children, Donald Keith Ellis of Tarboro and Barbara Dawn Adcock (Dennis) of Pinetops; grandchildren, Jermey Gray Recinos-Tillery, Markus Noe Recinos-Tillery, Christian Phillip Recinos-Tillery, Tracy, Dennis, and Ashley Adcock, KJ Ellis (Patricia), and Kelly Ellis; great-grandchildren, Christopher Eli Tillery, Alex Ward, Tatiana, Janiyah, Zy, De'Nazia, and De'Marco Dickens, Cadyen Lancaster, Natalie Lancaster, Kayle Ann Ellis, and Louis Klayton Ellis; along with many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 2:00pm at Brentwood Pentecostal Holiness Church, 3806 N Main St, Tarboro, NC 27886. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00pm.
