Cathy Levine Everton, age 60, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital in Tarboro, NC. She was born on March 14, 1961 in Akron, Ohio to Jack and Anna Barcroft Pownall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jay Pownall.

She is survived by her daughter, Amber Lynn Everton of Tarboro; granddaughters, Aricah Leye Everton and Rayah Justeen Johnson; great-granddaughter, Amari Ly'nae Everton; siblings, Melanie Beacham (Buddy) of Kitty Hawk, NC, Michelle Brown (Charlie) of Red Oak, NC, Twila Hart (Tim) of Jacksonville, Florida, Guy Pownall (Sheila) of Hertford, NC, Robin Pownall (Roxanne) of Ironside, NC, and Mark Pownall (Brenda) of West Virginia; former husband and long-time friend, Patrick Everton of Chesapeake, VA; along with many special nieces, nephews, family friends and other extended relatives.

Cathy's family and friends will gather for a viewing and visitation and special time of fellowship on Friday, April 23, from 4:00-7:00pm at FaithHouse Church (formerly The Rock Church), 2147 US Hwy 64 East Alt, Tarboro, NC.
