Charles L. Burgess

Charles L. Burgess passed away on October 14, 2026. He was born on March 27, 1960, to Fumiko N. Burgess and Robert L. Burgess in Okinawa, Japan.

Charles is survived by his sister, Kuniko Burgess, and his brother, Michael L. Burgess. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Charles enjoyed metal detecting and panning for gold. He was skeptical of establishment views, often exploring alternative, non-mainstream viewpoints in all things, especially health-related matters. He knew and loved his neighbors and cousins, who looked out for him. Above all else, he loved his cats to a fault; he could never turn away a stray.

Charles requested no formal service. A memorial is planned for later this fall.
