Charles David Holzworth, 38, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, September 26, 2022.  He was born September 5, 1984, in Greenwood, South Carolina.  He was caring and compassionate and that showed in his relationship with family and friends and all those he came into contact with.  David enjoyed spending his summers in Alaska and was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for fishing and hunting.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dr. Monta Lavern and Frances Fager Holzworth, and maternal grandparents, Marvin Wright and Suzanne Cooper Manley.

David is survived by his son, Roman Holzworth; parents, Pete and Mary Beth Holzworth of Rocky Mount; brothers, Phillip and wife Kaylen Holzworth of Greenville, and Stephen Holzworth of Pinetops; sister, Suzanne Peaden of Wilson; nephews, Holden and Hudson Holzworth, and Bennett Peaden; niece, Lohla Holzworth; and a special cousin, Dr. Kem "KJ" Owens of South Carolina; and special family friends, Lucy, Ashley, and Julianna Pate; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
