Rocky Mount –

Charles "Tony" Hopkins, age 78, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 8, 2025. He was born in Greenville, South Carolina on July 24, 1947, son of Clyde and Georgie Capps Hopkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Hopkins; daughter, Betsy Ann Flockhart; brothers, Mitchell Hopkins, Early Dawn Hopkins, Sr. and Richard Clyde Hopkins and grandson, Andrew James "AJ" Hopkins.

He is survived by his children, Anthony Keith Hopkins of Nashville, Andrew Scott "Andy" Hopkins of Rocky Mount, Angela Marie Bryant, also of Rocky Mount and Charles Anson Hopkins of Virginia; sister, Barbara Hopkins Hines of Zebulon and brother, Christopher Hopkins of Princeton.

Tony will also be missed by his twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other extended relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, December 23, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Davis-Little Funerals.
