Constance "Connie" Knight Jackson, age 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 in Morehead City, NC. She was born in Nash County on February 21, 1943 to Paul and Johnnie Lucas Knight. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Bobby Dail Jackson and son, Steven Christopher Jackson.

She is survived by a loving family including her daughter, Ashley Jackson Edmondson and husband, Richard Shelton Edmondson of Atlantic Beach; sister, Kay Knight Galvin; grandchildren, Caroline Elizabeth Edmondson, Claire Knight Edmondson, and Taylor Staton Edmondson; along with many special nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 2:00pm at Pineview Cemetery, Rocky Mount. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
