Cindy Gupton Roseberry, age 57 of Surfside Beach, SC, died Monday at her home. Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Walter "Bo" Gupton; her maternal grandparents, Amos Pittman and Frances Sexton Pittman; paternal grandparents, Stephen T. Gupton and Margaret "Jane" Gupton; her aunt, Joan P. Weaver; uncles, Benjamin Weaver; Dr. Stephen T. Gupton, Jr.; William R. Gupton; and Frank R. Gupton.

Cindy is survived by her daughter, Cameron Lee Roseberry of the home; her mother, Gail Pittman Gupton of Rocky Mount; and her brother, Bryan Gupton of Raleigh. She is also survived by her loving aunts, many cousins and her beloved friends.

A 1982 graduate of Rocky Mount Senior High School, Cindy made many lifelong friends when she moved to Myrtle Beach, SC, in 1986, after graduating from her father's alma mater, Atlantic Christian College. Having worked at Spinnaker's and Drunken Jack's, she truly enjoyed her work and her many friends in the food service industry.  Cindy owned and operated CJ's Island Grill in Murrells Inlet until the birth of her daughter led her to the job she loved most—motherhood.

A memorial service will be held at the home of Cindy's mother on Friday, October 15, at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
