Daniel David Alvarez, Jr., age 55, passed away Monday afternoon, March 16th, 2020 at his home in Tarboro, NC. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel D. and Irma Ruth Alvarez; sister, Theresa Alvarez Peaden; and grandson, Grayson Brandon Coley. He leaves a lifetime of wonderful memories for his devoted wife of almost thirty-four years, Nancy Bruce Thompson Alvarez; his beloved children, Daniel David Alvarez, III (Maggie), Robert Landon Alvarez (Carrie), Victoria Alvarez Coley (Brandon), all of Tarboro,and Alexis Clara Alvarez of the home. Daniel was a family man who cherished growing up with his siblings, Juan Delacruz Alvarez (Brenda) of Nashville, Thomas Julian Alvarez (Kathy) of Black Jack, Angela Alvarez Garris (Petey) of Chicod, and Darryl Eugene Alvarez of Pinetops. He was especially proud of his grandchildren, Alexander Landon Alvarez, Izabella Lynn Alvarez, and Gabriel David Alvarez. Daniel will also be greatly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, and close family friends.

Daniel's life will be celebrated with a graveside service at 3:30 pm, Thursday, March 19th, 2020 at St. Michael's Episcopal Churchyard, 3204 Western Blvd, Tarboro. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
