Danny Lawrence Outlaw passed away peacefully at his home on February 25, 2022, in Nashville, NC. He was born on March 31, 1960 – the son of Jean Outlaw and the late Buddy Outlaw. He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Mark Outlaw.

Danny loved to be with his Dad, working with him in the family's various car businesses from an early age. He spent over 40 years as a local businessman in the Rocky Mount area. Danny loved old cars and motorcycles, country gospel like Willie Nelson and Elvis, often singing and joking with his two granddaughters – even when they begged him to stop. Danny loved to be outside with many of his best memories being out on the water at Gaston Lake or Atlantic Beach. He also loved watching Westerns on TV – and likely knew every episode of Bonanza by heart.

Danny attended Parkwood Baptist Church, and while there, he was encouraged by its members and grew in his faith under the leadership of his friend and pastor, John Scott.

Above all else, Danny loved his family. He has left behind to cherish his memory, his high school sweetheart and wife of 42 years, Debbie Outlaw, as well as his children, Lauren Outlaw (Brent) and Justin Outlaw (Mary Beth), and his most special, "Gooddaddy's girls" – Kaitlin and Brooklyn Decker.

A Celebration of Danny's Life will be held at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Parkwood Baptist Church, 1731 Hunter Hill Rd., Rocky Mount. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
