Castalia—

Deborah B Moore, age 65, passed away Friday, December 15, 2023. She was born in Nash County on March,13 1958 to James R Bobbitt and Delores Mangum Bobbitt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Bobbitt, Charles Bobbitt, and infant brother, Raymond Bobbitt.

She is survived by her son, Carl Moore III and wife, Amber; grandsons, Mason and Jase Moore; significant other of 10 years, Michael Poythress; sisters, Carolyn Hawkins and Peggy Pridgen; along with several nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Hospice, Thereasa Ayscue and Davis Little Funerals for their kind help at a much needed time.

A private memorial will take place at a later date.
