Delores May

Delores Ann May, age 79, passed away on May 17, 2026.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Juanita Winstead Taylor; sisters, Gladys Liles, Gail Weston; brother, Joseph Taylor; and daughter-in-law, Erin Grist May.

Delores is survived by her husband, Clifton Ray May; sons, Joseph Brian May of Fort Payne, AL and Daniel Keith May (Christy) of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Brittany (Daniel), Hunter (Jessica) and Morgan and five great-grandchildren.  

She was a member of Grace Baptist Temple for fifteen years and looked forward to Sunday every week. She especially enjoyed spending time and fellowship with a special group of ladies that became known as the "Coffee Girls."

The family will host a memorial service to pay tribute to her life will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Grace Baptist Temple, at 6:00PM.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
