Rocky Mount –

Donald Delano Barnes, Jr., age 64, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, August 12, 2024 at his home in Rocky Mount. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Delano Barnes and brother, Douglas Roy.

He is survived by his wife, Beverley Barnes; son, Cody Barnes (Lauren) of Rocky Mount; mother, Imogene Barnes; grandchildren, Landon, Avery and Charly Barnes; sisters, Donna Burnette (Hot Rod) of Rocky Mount, Patrice Martin (P.J.) of Salisbury and S.J. Sadler of Rocky Mount.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
