Donald Harold Dion, age 73, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022 at Nash UNC Health Care in Rocky Mount, NC. He was born on July 27, 1948 in Burlington, Vermont to Raymond and Ruth Kennedy Dion, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by his brother, Patrick F. Dion of Suffolk, Va; sisters, Regina Rayta (Bernie) of Winooski, VT and Elizabeth Gaither (Lynn) of Colorado; special friends, Linda Godwin of Rocky Mount and Jesse Ponder of Rocky Mount; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
