Donna Thomas Womble, age 68, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022. She was born on January 6, 1954 in Scranton, PA to Deward and Myrtle Jacoby Thomas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Clayton Andrew Womble.

She is survived by a loving family that includes her husband of 47 years, Phillip Womble; son, Thomas "Matt" Womble and wife, Meredith of Wake Forest; granddaughters, Kate and Nora Womble; brothers, David Lee Thomas and wife, Faye of Wilson and Paul Deward Thomas and wife, Beth of Raleigh, along with several much loved nieces and nephews.

A service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 2:00pm at Elm City Methodist Church, 106 N Parker St, Elm City, NC 27822. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
