Dorothy Brayboy, age 69, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, September 11, 2021 in Pittsboro, North Carolina.

She was born  April 18, 1952 in Wilson County, NC to Stacy and Hazel Fulford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac "Junior" Brayboy and brother, Stacy "S.D." Fulford. She leaves a devoted family that includes her siblings, Donnae Rackley of Rocky Mount, Charlotte Sills of Elm City, Ronnie Fulford of Nashville, and Michelle Smith of Whitakers; sister-in-law, Priscilla Fulford of Wasilla, Alaska; along with several nieces and nephews including her "baby dumpling," Kaitlin House.

A service to celebrate Dorothy's life will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Fellowship of Praise Church, 3201 Benvenue Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, also at Dorothy's church and other times at the home of Carl Sills, Jr., 6366 Bone's Acres Road, Elm City.
