Dorothy Mae Carter, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Nash UNC Health Care. She was born on June 27, 1954 in Nash County to Herbert and Virginia Rowe Patterson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Mildred Cockrell, Shirley Patterson, Minnie Patterson, Herbert Patterson, Jr., Earl Patterson and Kenneth Patterson.
She is survived by her daughters, Wanda Webb (Joe) of Rocky Mount and Crystal Green of Iowa; grandchildren, Dillon West, Cierra Webb, Carli Webb, Marissa Rutledge and Elias Green; and siblings, Faye Bledsoe (Johnny) of Dunn and Ervin Patterson of Castalia.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
