Douglas Charles Roy, age 63, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. He was born in Wake County on November 3, 1957 to Oliver and Imogene Everette Roy.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Carol Roy of Macclesfield; children, Morgan Roy (Deshawn) of Macclesfield, Zachery Roy of Macclesfield, Christopher Montgomery, Christopher Roberts (Stephanie) of Macclesfield and Steven Roberts (Jennifer) of Conetoe; mother, Jean Barnes of Sharpsburg; siblings, Patrice Martin (P.J.) of Salisbury, Nora Sadler of Rocky Mount, Don Barnes, Jr. (Beverly) of Rocky Mount and Donna Burnett (Hot Rod) of Rocky Mount; along with several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
