MACCLESFIELD

Edwina Jefferson Barry, age 80, passed away Monday morning, January 13, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Thelma Jefferson, and her husband, Robert M. Barry. She leaves a lifetime of treasured memories for her children, Michael S. Barry and his wife, April of Macclesfield and Joan Fenescey of Florida; sister, Marie McKeel of Tarboro; and brother, Roger Jefferson of Macclesfield. She was a loving Mema to five grandchildren: Lindzie, Lanie, and Landon Barry, Tim Barry, and James Goins; and five great-grandchildren: Sarah, Lily, Bailey, James, and Ashton. She also leaves a host of family friends and extended relatives.

Edwina will be remembered with a Celebration of Life service at 12:00 Noon, Friday, January 17th, 2020 at Eagles Baptist Church, 226 NC-124 W., Macclesfield. Burial will follow at Queen Anne Cemetery in Fountain. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 10:30 a.m., and other times at the home of Mike and April Barry.
