Rocky Mount –

Elizabeth Booth Fisher, age 93, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022 at Nash UNC Health Care in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Her journey began in Nash County on August 19, 1929 as a daughter born to Robert and Olive Whitfield Booth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, W. Earl Fisher.

She leaves behind a lifetime of memories for her children, Robert E. Fisher (Brenda), Judy F. Winfree (Bobby), and Martha F. Hyde (Charlie); sister-in-law, Flossie F. Winstead; six grandchildren, William R. Winfree, Jr. (Beth), Christopher R. Hyde (Brandy), Amy E. Herbst (Scot), Tracy H. Futrell (William), Jamie L. Roughton (Shannon), and R. Brandon Fisher (Jamie); fifteen great-grandchildren; along with a host of other extended relatives.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery, Red Oak, NC. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
