It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Ethel Lee .

Lee passed away on July 17, 2026 At Age 72, in North Carolina due to Acute Cardiovascular Complications.

She was born on February 15,1954 to parents William Bryan Hudson & Erma Shute Hudson of Woodbury NJ.

Lee will always be remembered for her Love and Loyalty to Family, Closest Friends and Beloved Pets, Dedication and hard work to the current Tasks at Hand, Artistic Panache' & Stylish Manner in everything she did, her obsession with Antiques & Nostalgia, love of OC Maryland, and always her Witty & Sarcastic Humor that peppered all of her conversations & writings.

Growing up she idolized her older sisters and when they wouldn't let her tag along, she was happy to redirect her focus creating Drama, dressing her Barbies or designing Artful Masterpieces. Art expression came Natural for her and despite being a lefty she had gorgeous penmanship and moved from drawing and painting pictures to Window Dressing and Painting in Downtown Woodbury NJ during the Holidays.

She gave her time and energy to her sister Connie's daughters and let them brush her long tresses, play in her barbie box, and doted on them with her famous Tea Parties. Her best friends growing up were twins Judy and Janet.

She married her first husband Jim Biddick and they had their son, Jason Shane Biddick, whom they loved dearly.

Jim and Lee remained good friends up until her passing.

In later years she dedicated her time to the Resale of Vintage Antiquities and her Habit of Shoe Collecting.

They were spent with her Wonderful Husband, Henry "Hank" Banff along with their cherished Dogs and cats.

She and Hank had a Christmas Tree Collection and he was praised for indulging her extensive "Themed" Tree Madness. She was known to have as many as 15 fully decorated trees in their home at one time!

Lee was a whirlwind! Because of that trait, Mere acquaintances along with those who knew her very well, will never forget her. She will be sorely missed and fondly remembered.

Her End of life care was graced by the love and support of several Friends.

Most notably were Debra, Sherry and Rebecca. Thank you so much Ladies!

Lee was preceded in death by: 

her Father William Bryan Hudson & Mother Erma Shute Hudson, Grandmother Ethel Black,

Husband Hank Banff, Son Jason Biddick, Sister Tryvola (Betty) Hudson Clark, Sister Esther Hudson Pinzka, Brother William "Bill" Hudson, Sister Sondra Hudson Richards, Sister Constance Hudson Wilkins.

She is Survived by Nieces and Nephews: Harding Richards Jr. & his children, Denise Wilkins Anderson & her children, Len Clark & his children, Kelly Wilkins Fay & her child, Bryan Richards & his children and Shawn Richards & his children.

The family will be forgoing formal funeral services due to extensive dispersal of family and friends. she will be cremated at Davis and Little of Rocky Mount NC and Her Ashes will be buried along with Hanks and their pets in her family plot beside her Son Jason at Eglington Cemetery and Memorial Gardens in Clarksboro NJ.

All who loved her are encouraged to celebrate and honor her life in their own private or public memorials in their respective Cities and Countries.

Hence, in lieu of flowers, you can donate to Longwood Gardens Honor and Memorial Gifts Program in Pennsylvania. She Loved Longwood and it will be a wonderful way to pay homage to her beautiful Floral Arrangement Skills. Or you can donate on her behalf to any Animal Rescue and Shelter as all her Beloved pets were Rescues.
