Evangeline Bledsoe Rackley, age 87, passed away early Monday morning at Hunter Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Bledsoe and Ruby Drake; daughter, Gail Rackley Connie; sister and brother-in-law, Marean B. and Tommy Polland.  She is survived by her son, Glenn Rackley, Jr. of Rocky Mount; brother, Tony Bledsoe (Julie) of Clayton; son-in-law, Elbert Connie of Nashville; grandchildren, Bobby and Thomas Rackley, and Jennifer Rackley Wells; step-grandchildren, Glenn Connie and Christina Manning; great-grandchildren, Abel and Ruby Rackley; step great-grandchildren, Kayla Skinner and Emily Connie; and step-great-great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Ansley Dalyon.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 3, 2020 at The Church of God, 2129 Lawrence Circle, Rocky Mount. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
