Nashville -

Rebecca "Becky" Bass Rollans, age 96, passed away peacefully in her home Friday morning, August 26, 2022. Becky's life began July 27, 1926 in Nash County as a daughter born to William Lee and Iola Timberlake Bass. She was a charter member of North Rocky Mount Church of God and remained active for as long as her health allowed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy McKinley Rollans; sisters, Mary Leigh Boone, Louise "Jackie" Edwards, Betty Vick, Ruby Reid Luke, and Dolly Estelle Wilson; and brother, Johnny Curtis Bass.

She leaves a long lifetime of cherished memories for her son, Larry Leroy Rollans (Brenda) of Nashville; grandson, Larry Scott Rollans of Rocky Mount; great-granddaughter, Macon Rollans and great-grandson, Andrew Rollans; along with a host of nieces, nephews, church family & friends and other extended relatives.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, August 30 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6:00pm - 8:00pm, Monday, August 29 at The Church of God, 2129 Lawrence Circle, Rocky Mount.
