Rocky Mount -

Frances Mott Davis, 58, passed away at Nash UNC Hospital on May 6, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex Davis Mott and Katherine Ward Mott.

Frances is survived by her siblings, David Mott (Brenda) of Pinetops, Betty Mott of Rocky Mount, Doris Smith (Phil) of Nashville, Linda Pollard of Rocky Mount, Lee Mott (Brenda) of Rocky Mount, Mary Lewis (Dean) of Pinetops, and Kenneth Mott of Rocky Mount.  Frances will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, with whom she had many special bonds.

Even though Frances never had children of her own, she always had a special place in her heart for children and loved them unconditionally.  She also enjoyed spending time at the beach, daily cups of coffee, and going fishing whenever she was able.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at 12:00 PM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, 4454 Dortches Blvd., Rocky Mount.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
