Glenn "GA" Pierce, age 78, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Hunter Hill Senior Living in Rocky Mount, NC. He was born on February 8, 1944 in Nash County to Clarence and Hazel Gay Pierce. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronnie and Billy Ray Pierce; and uncle, Elmer Pierce.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, JoLenne Pierce of Rocky Mount; son, Kevin Glenn Pierce of Rocky Mount; daughter, Kimberly Dawn Pierce of Rocky Mount; brother, Leonard Clarence "L.C." Pierce (Olivia) of Dudley; sister-in-law, Judy Pierce; brother-in-law, Eddie DeBow of Rocky Mount; granddaughter, Kristin Dawn Pierce of Rocky Mount; and great-granddaughter, Kaleah Dawn Whitaker.

A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
