Rocky Mount –

Gregory Darren "Greg" Lyons, age 58, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025 at his home in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. He was born in Wake County on February 11, 1967 and  was preceded in death by his mother, Rosa Lee Richardson.

Greg is survived by his daughter, Brittany Lyons of Tarboro; siblings, Carolyn Lynch, Robin Ward (Ray), Reginald "Reggie" Lyons (Mary Lynch) , Wallace Llyod "Skipper" Lyons and Alexander "Pooh" Richardson, all of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Brandon Lyons, Amiyah Whitehead, Jeremiah Whitehead and Quincy Atkinson; Brittany's mother, Mabel Lyons of Tarboro and former wife and close friend, Angelia "Lia" Lyons of Rocky Mount.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00pm on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Davis-Little Funerals, 2129 Lawrence Circle, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
