Harold Barton "Bart" Rose, 66, passed away on December 9, 2021, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC.  He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ramona Rose.

Bart is survived by his son, Bailey Rose; daughter, Brooke Rose, both of Nashville, NC; brother, Brad Rose of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and special friend, Beverly Rose.

During his childhood and teenage years, he was an active member of Falls Road Baptist Church in Rocky Mount.  As a proud veteran, he loved his country and served honorably in the United States Army.  He had a number of different hobbies, but he especially enjoyed coin collecting, watching movies, and he was an excellent billiard player.  Even though Bart had a medical disability, he never gave up and always did his very best.  He was by far the best car detailer in the area.  He was very meticulous as he cleaned and polished cars.  He knew exactly which protective agents to apply that would ensure the best possible shine!

Friends are invited to remember and celebrate Bart's life on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, 11:00 AM, at Corinth Baptist Church, 2883 North NC Highway 58, Nashville, NC 27856.  The family will receive immediately following the service.  In lieu of flowers, you may consider memorial donations to the American Lung Association https://www.lung.org/
