Harvey Lee Williams, age 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 16, 2022. He was born on December 29, 1939 in Wilson County to Amos and Annie Kennedy Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Williams.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Julia Williams; step-children, Ricky Hadley (Kitty), Bruce Hadley (Pam), David Hadley (Lori White),and Jeff Hadley (Claudia); siblings, Junior Williams (Brenda), William Williams (Pam), Thomas Williams, Joseph "Bennett" Williams, Bobby Williams (Jenny), Edna Paige (Sherwood), and Peggy Bunn; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.

A service will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Arlington Baptist Church, 1500 Bethlehem Rd, Rocky Mount, NC 27803. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, 350 N. 1st St., Nashville, NC 27856. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM.
