Rocky Mount -

Hilda Pineda Cadena, age 67, passed away Friday morning, November 11, 2022 at Nash UNC Health Care in Rocky Mount. She was born in Mexico on February 16, 1955 to Daniel Pineda and Lina Esqivel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gian Carlos "Yonka" Cadena.

She is survived by her beloved husband of forty-nine years, Alfredo Cadena; her devoted children, Claudia Hedgepeth (Tim), Felix Cadena (Amanda), Christian Cadena, Kevin Cadena (Megan Insley); along with a host of family friends and other extended relatives. She was especially proud of her grandchildren, T.J. and Stephanie Hedgepeth; Anthony, Hannah, and Lucas Cadena; Damien and Jakob Cadena; Dylan Evans, and Joshua Cadena.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, November 19, 2022, 2:00pm at The Church of God, 2129 Lawrence Circle, Rocky Mount.  There will be a time of visitation with family and friends immediately after the service.
