Stewart Jones, 73, of Rocky Mount passed away on April 19, 2019.  He was a long time resident of Kinston and a graduate of Grainger High School where he earned an athletic letter in the game of golf.  Following graduation, he followed his passion for golf while serving as an Assistant Club Pro, a Club Pro, owner of golf equipment stores, and certified golf club technician.  In addition to his professional career, he served his country in the U.S. National Guard.

Stewart is survived by his son Bryan; daughter, Leigh Ann Wingfield; two brothers, Charles and Stephen Jones; three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
