James Henry Adams, age 76, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 3, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Rufus and Navalle Tickle Adams and brother, Dick Adams.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Carolyn Faye Adams; step-sons, Donnie Moore and Frankie Moore, both of Elm City and granddaughter, Brittany Moore of the home.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
