Scotland Neck -

Jean Frank, age 61, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at ECU Inpatient Hospice in Greenville, North Carolina. She was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on February 5, 1964 to Zeb and Mary Jo Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Henry Frank, III; brother, David Barfield and niece, Desiree Bass.

She leaves a treasure trove of memories for her husband of forty-two years, Henry Frank, Jr; children, Michael Moore (Selena Garcia) and Sheena Summerlin (Antonio Cassady), all of Rocky Mount; step-daughter, Angela Dawn (Robert Johnson) of Colorado; siblings, Donnie Barfield (Cathy) of Seaboard, Dreama Storms of Swansboro, Tina Peeden (Randy), also of Swansboro, Deanna Parker of Scotland Neck and Tammy Ryan (Stuart) of Sanford; along with an abundance of nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.

Jean loved her grandchildren dearly and was a devoted "Granny" to: Kayleigh, Aubrey, Zuri, Nathaniel, Mason, Jasmine, Larry, Dakota, Bella, Anna, Gabriella, Shawn, Jayden, Chloe, Landis, Wyatt and Carter and four great-grandchildren, including one due in May.

Jean was someone who truly appreciated the little things in life. She found joy in the simple pleasures of being outdoors, whether it was camping or fishing with her family. As a dedicated homemaker, Jean took great pride in looking after her husband, children, and grandchildren, making sure their every need was met with love and care. Jean's nurturing nature made her a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and she will be missed by all who loved her.

A Celebration of Jean's Life will be held at 4:00pm on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Davis-Little Funerals, 2129 Lawrence Circle, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
